PRIVACY POLICY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

This Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Notice (“Policy”) has been prepared to explain how personal data is processed within the scope of the Application, for what purposes it is used, with whom it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and users’ rights under data protection legislation.

This text is intended to provide information under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, to the extent applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation.

Language and Regional Applicability Notice

This Policy may be provided in Turkish, English, German and/or other languages. Different language versions are prepared for user information purposes.

The Provider is established in Türkiye. For users located in Türkiye, the provisions of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) apply.

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or relevant local data protection legislation remain reserved to the extent applicable.

The Application may be used by users in different countries. Mandatory local data protection, consumer protection or privacy provisions that may apply depending on the user’s country or region remain reserved. This Policy is not intended to limit any mandatory rights granted to users under applicable local law.

In the event of any difference in meaning or conflict between different language versions, the Turkish text shall prevail, without prejudice to the mandatory legal provisions of the country where the user is located.

1) What Data Do We Process?

A) Account and Membership Data

The following data may be processed within the scope of account creation, login and user account management:

  • Email address

  • Username / profile name

  • Password information

  • Account verification and session information

Passwords are not stored in plain text. Passwords are processed and stored using secure methods.

If login is performed through third-party accounts such as Google, Facebook, Apple or similar providers, only the basic account identifiers required for login and account verification may be obtained from the relevant provider.

B) Chart and Astrology Input Data

The following data may be processed in order to provide astrological calculation, interpretation and analysis features within the Application:

  • Chart name

  • Date of birth

  • Time of birth

  • Place of birth

  • Astrological profile and chart information created or saved by the user

Chart calculations may be performed dynamically. The Application is not required to permanently store the chart output or drawing. However, in order for the user to access the same inputs again, view their charts, and use the Application features, the above input data may be stored in the user account.

If the user enters or saves date of birth, time of birth, place of birth or similar information belonging to themselves or third parties in the Application, the user acknowledges that such information may be processed for the purpose of providing the Application’s astrological calculation, interpretation and analysis features.

When entering information belonging to third parties into the Application, the user is responsible for respecting the privacy of the relevant person and for not using such information unlawfully.

C) Artificial Intelligence Chat and Analysis Data

Messages, questions, prompts, chat content and responses to such content entered by the user through artificial intelligence chat, artificial intelligence analysis and similar features offered within the Application may be processed.

This data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Generating artificial intelligence responses and analyses

  • Providing the user with chat history

  • Enabling the user to access previous conversations

  • Ensuring service security

  • Detecting errors, providing technical support and preventing misuse

  • Improving service quality, performance and user experience

The Provider does not sell users’ artificial intelligence chat content to third parties for commercial purposes or share it for independent marketing purposes.

However, for the purposes of service security, technical support, error detection, prevention of misuse, fulfillment of legal obligations, or responding to requests from authorized official authorities, limited authorized access may be provided to the extent necessary, or the relevant records may be shared in accordance with applicable legislation.

D) Forum and Community Data

Forum, community area, posting, commenting or similar social features may be offered within the Application. The following data may be processed within the scope of these features:

  • Forum posts created by the user

  • Comments

  • Likes, interactions or similar community activities

  • Username / profile name

  • Posting and commenting dates

  • Moderation, complaint and security records

Posts, comments and similar content shared in the forum area may be viewed by other users. Users acknowledge that the information they share in the forum area may be visible to other users.

Users are advised not to share identity numbers, open addresses, phone numbers, financial information, health data, passwords or other personal, private or sensitive information that they do not wish to disclose in the forum area.

Users should act carefully when sharing personal data belonging to themselves or third parties in forum or community areas.

The relevant user is responsible for the unlawful sharing of personal data belonging to others in forum or community areas.

E) Technical and Usage Data

The following technical data may be processed in order for the Application to operate securely, stably and efficiently:

  • Application version

  • Device model

  • Operating system information

  • Language and region settings

  • IP address

  • Session and access records

  • Log records

  • Error and crash reports

  • Security, performance and usage data

This data may be processed for the purposes of ensuring service security, fixing errors, improving performance, preventing misuse and carrying out technical support processes.

F) Advertising Data

Advertisements may be displayed within the Application. The following data may be processed within the scope of advertisement display:

  • Advertisement display and measurement data

  • Advertisement interaction data

  • Signals or preferences related to advertisement personalization

  • Device and advertising identifiers

Chart input data, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, artificial intelligence chat content and private user content outside the forum are not sold to third parties for advertising purposes.

2) For What Purposes Do We Process Data?

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Creating membership, login and account management

  • Verifying user identity

  • Creating, saving and presenting astrology charts to the user

  • Providing static astrological interpretations and analyses

  • Providing artificial intelligence-supported analysis, interpretation and chat features

  • Providing the user with chat history and previous analyses

  • Operating forum and community features

  • Displaying posts, comments and user interactions

  • Ensuring community safety and carrying out moderation processes

  • Ensuring service security

  • Preventing abuse, spam, fake accounts, unauthorized access and misuse

  • Error resolution, maintenance, technical support and performance improvement

  • Carrying out advertisement display and advertisement measurement processes

  • Responding to user requests

  • Fulfilling legal obligations

  • Responding to duly submitted requests from authorized institutions and organizations

  • Establishment, exercise or protection of a right

3) Legal Reasons and Processing Grounds

Personal data may be processed based on the following legal reasons under Article 5 of the KVKK and applicable legislation:

  • Processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract

  • Legitimate interests of the data controller

  • Fulfillment of legal obligations

  • Processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right

  • The data has been made public by the data subject

  • Explicit consent where required by applicable legislation

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, personal data may be processed, to the extent applicable, on the following legal bases under the GDPR or relevant local data protection legislation:

  • Performance of a contract

  • Compliance with legal obligations

  • Legitimate interests

  • User consent

  • Establishment, exercise or defense of a right

If the data required for the provision of the Application’s core functions is not processed, the relevant features may not be available.

4) Artificial Intelligence Features

Artificial intelligence-supported analysis, interpretation, chat and similar features may be offered within the Application.

Within the scope of these features, messages, questions, astrological chart information, calculated planetary positions and technical content required for the relevant analysis within the Application may be processed.

Responses generated within the scope of artificial intelligence features are produced by automated systems. Content generated by artificial intelligence may contain errors, omissions or incorrect information. Such content is for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical or psychological advice.

Users are advised not to use artificial intelligence responses as the sole basis for decision-making and to seek professional support from experts in the relevant field where necessary.

In order to provide artificial intelligence features, user inputs and relevant technical data may be processed through third-party technical service providers and artificial intelligence infrastructure providers. These providers supply technical infrastructure services for the purpose of delivering the service.

5) Forum and Community Features

The Application may offer forum or community features where users can share their experiences, astrology knowledge, comments and questions.

Content shared in the forum area may be viewed by other users. Therefore, users should act carefully when sharing personal, private or sensitive information in the forum area.

Forum content may be stored and processed for the purposes of providing the service, maintaining community order, evaluating complaints, preventing misuse and fulfilling legal obligations.

The Provider may, within the scope of community safety and moderation processes, review, remove, limit the visibility of or take action regarding the relevant account in relation to content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading or contrary to community rules.

6) Service Providers and Data Transfers

Third-party technical service providers may be used for the operation of the Application and the provision of services. These providers may provide services in the following areas:

  • Server and hosting infrastructure

  • Database services

  • Authentication and login systems

  • Email delivery

  • Logging, error monitoring and crash analysis

  • Advertisement display and advertisement measurement

  • Artificial intelligence infrastructure and technical processing services

  • Security, maintenance and performance services

Personal data may be shared with the relevant service providers only for the purposes of providing the service, operating the technical infrastructure, ensuring security, fulfilling legal obligations and for the purposes specified above.

The Provider does not sell user data to third parties for commercial purposes. User data is not shared with third parties for independent marketing purposes outside the functionality of the Application.

Due to the nature of artificial intelligence, server, authentication, advertising or technical infrastructure services, certain data may be processed through technical service providers located domestically or abroad. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and to the extent necessary for the provision of the service.

Personal data of users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland may be processed through technical service providers located in Türkiye or other countries for the purpose of providing the service. Such transfers may be carried out under appropriate safeguards, contractual commitments or other lawful transfer mechanisms required by applicable data protection legislation.

7) Sharing with Authorized Authorities

Personal data and related records may be shared with courts, public prosecutors’ offices, law enforcement units, regulatory and supervisory authorities or other authorized public institutions and organizations if duly requested under applicable legislation and limited to the scope of the request.

The Provider may share necessary data with authorized authorities in order to fulfill its legal obligations, exercise its legal rights, establish its right of defense, protect the safety of users or third parties and prevent unlawful use.

8) Advertisements and Preferences

Advertisements may be displayed within the Application. Within the scope of advertisement display, advertising technologies may process technical data required for serving advertisements, measuring advertisements, evaluating performance and carrying out personalization in accordance with applicable legislation.

In certain regions, where required by legislation, advertisement preferences or permissions may be obtained and managed through appropriate preference management mechanisms.

The user may change advertisement personalization preferences through device settings or options offered within the Application.

Where personalized advertisements are disabled or not permitted in the relevant region, advertisements may be displayed as non-personalized to the extent possible.

9) Retention Period

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing and within the retention periods required under applicable legislation.

General retention principles are as follows:

  • Account data: for as long as the account is active and the purpose continues

  • Chart and astrology input data: for as long as the user account is active and the data has not been deleted by the user

  • Artificial intelligence chat records: for as long as necessary to provide the user with chat history, security, technical support and operation of the service

  • Forum posts and comments: for as long as necessary for the operation of the service, community integrity, security, moderation and legal obligations

  • Log, security and technical records: for reasonable periods required for security, audit, error resolution and legal requirements

  • Advertising and measurement data: for periods compliant with relevant advertising technologies, user preferences and legislation

  • Data subject to a legal dispute or official request: until the relevant process is completed and the periods required by legislation expire

If the user deletes their account or requests deletion of their data, the relevant data may be deleted, destroyed or anonymized, subject to applicable legislation, technical requirements and legal obligations.

In areas requiring community integrity, such as forums, certain content may be separated from the user account and anonymized or retained in a limited manner in order to preserve the community flow.

10) Deletion, Destruction and Anonymization

Users may request the deletion, destruction or anonymization of their personal data through in-application options or via the contact email address.

In this context:

  • Deletion means removing the association of personal data with the relevant user account or making it inaccessible to the user.

  • Destruction means destroying data in a manner that cannot technically be restored.

  • Anonymization means rendering data unable to be associated with an identified or identifiable person.

Retention obligations required by legislation, legal disputes, security records, requests from authorized authorities and technical necessities are reserved.

11) Data Security

The Provider applies reasonable technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of personal data.

In this context, the following measures may be implemented:

  • Access control and authorization

  • Encryption

  • Secure storage methods

  • Logging and security monitoring

  • Technical measures to prevent unauthorized access

  • Database and server security

  • Technical infrastructure security controls

  • Restriction of personnel or authorized access

However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. While the Provider takes reasonable and up-to-date security measures, it does not guarantee a completely risk-free digital environment.

12) Sensitive Information

Users are advised not to share the following information within the Application, especially in artificial intelligence chat areas and forum sections:

  • Identity number

  • Passport information

  • Open address

  • Phone number

  • Financial information

  • Bank or credit card information

  • Passwords

  • Health data

  • Special categories of personal data

  • Personal or confidential information that they do not wish to disclose

Information voluntarily shared by the user in the forum area may be viewed by other users.

13) Personal Data Breach Notification

In the event of suspected unlawful acquisition of personal data by third parties or a similar personal data breach, the situation will be evaluated by the Provider.

Where required under applicable legislation, notifications may be made to the relevant authorities and users may be informed where deemed appropriate.

14) Data Subject Rights

Users’ rights regarding their personal data may vary depending on the country where the user is located and the applicable data protection legislation. The Provider evaluates duly submitted requests in accordance with applicable legislation.

A) Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, users have the following rights:

  • To learn whether their personal data is being processed

  • To request information if their personal data has been processed

  • To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose

  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad

  • To request correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed personal data

  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in the KVKK

  • To request that correction, deletion or destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred

  • To object to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing processed data exclusively through automated systems

  • To claim compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing of personal data

B) Rights Under the GDPR, UK GDPR and Other Applicable Data Protection Legislation

Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland may have the following rights, subject to the conditions and limitations provided under applicable data protection legislation:

  • To request access to personal data

  • To request correction of personal data

  • To request deletion of personal data

  • To request restriction of processing of personal data

  • To the extent applicable, to request personal data provided by the user in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format

  • To object to processing based on legitimate interests

  • To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

  • To lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority

Requests will be evaluated within the periods prescribed under applicable legislation.

15) Children’s Privacy

The Application is not designed for children.

Users under the age of 18 are advised to use the Application with the knowledge and consent of their parents or legal representatives.

16) Changes

This Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Notice may be updated from time to time.

The current text becomes effective when published in the Application or on the relevant web page. Users are advised to review the text regularly.

Material changes may be notified to users through in-application notifications, email or similar methods where deemed necessary.
